its very easy to hate. I hate horses, squirrles(gray only) chipmunks and quite a few other animals.

have to admit, ive always been a little scared of plecos. they are ok when they are small but the large ones sorta freak me out

lol, google "adonis pleco pictures". amazing, beautiful and absolutely enormous.

i dont understand the OP's logic with regards to pleco poo being different from any other fishes poo and putting nitrates sky high.

They just sit thier and when you see them sucking the glass in front of you thier mouth is just plain creepy.

LOL yep, Datnoides, stripey freaks, how are they not all eaten? About as camoflauged as pink VW Beetles. And Bichirs look like cucumbers.


I'm just kidding, Datnoides are nice and I love Bichirs, but just making a point that you can find negative qualities in any fish... not just ones that our OP here dislikes...

I have 2 Gibbbiceps - Sailfin pleco's in my 6ft, the larger one is almost a foot long, and is pretty much king of the tank.
They are a very impressive specimen when they flare up all their fins and swim through the tank. Sure there are plenty of fish I'm not keen on, and would never own, but I dont hate them, I dont even dislike them, they just dont interest me.

Plecos freak me out. Any suckerfish does. So do rays. You get the picture.

I can appreciate their coloration in a photo, but I don't want one in my tank.
