Dang Dustin, over 14 inches now?! That is over 10" of growth in 6.5 months!!! He will be over 20" in less then a year for sure!

mine is still around 18 inches. hes not growing very much lately, since i got him on shrimp. every time i give him a feeder, he wont take shrimp the next day. i would love to keep him on feeders but it got way too expensive.

When last measured about a month ago, mine was at 14"...He is currently in the pond just munching on whatever i throw in there...silversides, Tilapia chunks, as well as various live foods....cichla, Jags, oscars...and no im not crazy, they are simply easy fish to catch locally...
Im curious for the guys with the big boys, how do you think my armatus that I sold to marmot compares in its growth with yalls. Like I said in a little over 6.5 he has grown over ten inches.

well they grow fast..mine grow from12inches to 20inches in 8 months or maybe even less than 8months. that's 8inches of growth...!!!then they slow down when they reach 18inches mark. I'm power feeding him right now with vitamins feed to feeders. and a lot of water changes.JD7.62;1701822; said:

now i can see him start growing. he grew about an inch in the past 2 weeks.
