i have him with 3 rays. he dosnt like other fish at all. i had a 24 inch aro with him but the aro jumped through my lids and died.
ur lucky to be able to keep urs with other fish.
im trying to keep my small armatus with tankmates so i can keep them all together when they graduate to the big tank.
yeah,that's what I did..when he was 12" I had no choices but to mixed him with bigger fish(MORE THAN 12") ST and other bass so I guest he is used to have tankmates. then moved all of them in a bigger tank. the last owner of "raider" armatus told me that he is hard to mixed with other fish..so I tried it anyway and I found out that as long they are bigger than raider it will be alright. and no silver fish....you know I had him with 12 redtail and they are around 10-11inches...he killed one and ate 2 of them..LAST OWNER WAS RIGHT..so I sold all them and now with his tankmates are big bass,nile perch,st catfish, etc.. he is more calm. I also feed him alot bro. 50-60dollars a week on feeders..is expensive..but that's alright because I want to see how big he will get in a year...hoping more than 24inches.vamptrev;1703338; said:

I have officially the slowest growing Armatus. At only 9 inches..... Been off live since 4. And is just fine with a variety of tank mates.....
I believe that R1 probobly has the biggest one unless anyonbe else aquired one and still has it from Gs first batch? If I'm not mistaken I think his is around the 24in mark.
20 in Rhaph? pics/vid or it doesn't exist. I asked around months ago and could not get a confirmation on any in the home aquarium reaching over a foot.
