I think its a dog. I have seen tracks similar to that from mine in the snow and dogs can be light enough to get out on ice with out it breaking

officially that is...
i heard a pack clear as day in northern NH a few months ago. and Ive seen the track casts to back the calls up

still not wolves, just eastern coyotes, they are like 1/5 wolf so they are larger, have a pack mentality and howl a lot

just on christmas night I heard two packs behind my house howling its eery hearing them, especially when you can see a few of them and hear more in the distanced
