  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The bolivians don't look happy at all. And does the sev ever get to leave the corner?

the bolivians are very happy, the video camera makes them look horrible. and yes, the severum only goes in the corner when i'm taking pictures or in this case making a video. don't know what his deal is with that.

Wait until he gets a taste for one,,then boom there all gone. Never heard of an Oscar that won't eat lil fish.

he already has, if you read what i wrote hes eaten one of each of the tetra species on the first day they were added and then leaves them alone after that. doesn't even express interest or chase them at all.

In this hobby nothing is impossible or guaranteed.

I like tanks like this that defy the norm. It's nice to see a large cichlid like that with so many schooling fish around. I don't know how long it will work but it looks very nice now. Give us an update in 6 months to see if this lasts. That is a good looking Oscar BTW.

Interesting, I hope it works out long term. The O might change it's mind one day.

actually its not the first i have heard of. I have a friend whos oscars mate died. A weak lattor he went to feed it some spare dominows and it never ate them. years lator the only thing the oscar will eat is pellets.

I find this post very odd, I can somewhat handle that your oscar doesnt tear up plants,
But too have like thirty tetras in their at all times without losing anything seems weird.
A oscar who hasnt been fed feeders before still have always ended up eating small things
with me, I dont consider oscars aggressive but instead this is a food source for them,
Do you keep him stuffed with pellets permanetely? How old is this oscar is it extremely old?
