Who's got the most overstocked tank?

Disagree. If you think this it is and can make a general statement like that, then I'm not sure you realize what this site is.
I definately don't think this site is that, that is why I made that statement. I don't think we should be bragging about how many fish we can keep (or in this case cram) in an aquarium.
You keep fish in a box. I keep fish in a box. I just prefer to keep more of them. Larger ones. Whatever. You can't take something that is morally wrong altogether and then say that if it goes X far then it's too far.
So you think keeping fish is morally wrong altogether? You think that stocking "properly" is the lesser of two evils? Why do you do it yourself? I don't think it's morally wrong. I think that my fish are happy, and I'm sure that several thousand members here would agree with me on that.
There's always not clicking on a thread.. that works too.
If I see something that I think is wrong or messed up, I'll point it out. Aren't we allowed to express our opinions?
 
to all of you that want to talk crap about us who have overstocked tanks, my tank is overstocked because my 125 got a hugh crack in it and i needed to put my fish somewhere. before i lost my 125 i only kept my o.b. and a pleco with a juvi jag in my 75gal....would you punka$$es rather i got rid of the ones in my 125.....up yours

lil man huh....im 6"4 245 im far from a lil man......thats not really the point here, theres a line of constructive criticism and just trying to be mean. as i pointed out i was forced into overstocking a tank i didnt have a choice, it makes me mad when a select few have a better than thow attitude.. theres no need for that what so ever. i get that some fish keepers overstock a tank without regard, but i feel that most of the folks on here (mfk) know what there doing...........theres no need for personal attacks
 
and i am 6 4' 235 ex military policeman but that matters not

the size of a man is not in his physical size but in his ability to take criticism with a grain of salt and not take it personal

did you say that you did not have a choice in overstocking from the get go you made a reference to a cracked 125g but did not clearly tell people that is why you overstocked the 75g. Pretty sure you can fix the crack very easily with another pane of glass and some silicone problem solved.

did you list that important bit of information previously in your thread? perhaps you should have incomplete information brings about incomplete diagnosis of situations friend
 
Whats the difference between taking a Oscar out of the amazon and into a 100G tank and calling that "proper stocking", and taking 5 oscars out of the amazon and into a 100g and calling that "overstocked"?

N.C., I'm sorry if I/we offended you. You have a valid excuse/reason to be overstocked. Other people who cram dozens or hundreds of fish into a small tank are the people I was targeting. You didn't PLAN to be overstocked. Having a bunch of fish in less-than-decent accomidations is something that should be frowned upon, not bragged about. So overstocking is a reasonable temporary solution for you, I'm sure most of us would do the same. Still no reason to use that kind of language ;)
