They just are. That's the best way I can say it. Someone earlier said they say they are "cool" for lack of a better word. That sums it up for me too.

They look like dragons with their elongated bodies and i find their face especially the senegalus cute

What's makes them cool is that they are very addicting to collect. They are the drugs version of fish. Lol!
You'll get high by just watching them, and sometimes you hallucinate that you're swimming with them. (Hopefully not being ripped apart to pieces.)
