Dude you wanna ask them out trust me ive had a girl ask me out and give me her number she was hot this was a red flag right away cute girls play hard to get so i take her out to dinner and after we were gonna catch a movie well at dinner we are having a good time shes laughing then she just starts crying i ask her whats wrong she tells me to leave her alone i think WOW i pay for dinner and when we get in the car shes smiling again i think to my self this girl is crazy and in the back of my mind thinking shes gonna start biting me or some thing i tell her im not felling well so i drop her off at her apartment and haul ass out of there

Lol I love this story. Maybe its just the conventions...but it all seems to work together to make it even funnier. Great story.

That being said...girls do...its just rare. I think its sort of a social taboo just ingrained in everyones mind. So it doesnt happen as often.

I had girls approach me in HS...but no one I was really interested in.

Like everyone has said...when it comes to this, Live with no regrets. Approach them. Dont forces anything, but say hi, smile whatever...then the next time you see them you can maybe start up a conversation if the situation is right.

The thing that drove me crazy were the dances...everyone got paired, and the people at the bottom just had to settle. I usually just went stag (who wants to dance with the same girl for 4 hours anyways) and danced with all the girls I thought were cute, or ones that were just my friends. Had a better time that way, although I always did wish we would have one of those dances where the girl has to ask just to see how everything would settle out.

i asked some bloke out about 6 weeks ago, he says yes but hes really busy atm, so we swap numbers and text each other everyday till 2am the next morning for about 3 weeks.
next thing i get a message on fb saying hes cheating on me...well theres nothing to cheat on.
lol hes going out with someone! didnt even have the wotsits to tell me.
but since iv found out hes actually really nasty so im better off out of that lol
i always get turned down, maybe im too forward, i make very innapropriate jokes that apparently ppl dont find funny lol instead...just scary. nyah, if ppl cant expect my sense of humour then screw em.

yeah I would agree with this except that would make me a hypocrite. like I talk with the person I like at school alot she laughs alot when she sits near me its kinda strange and she looks at me. she also chat boxes me alot on facebook i just cant bring myself to ask her out...
