Why Do We Have To Kill Another To Live? Serious.

Wow I'm in love with this thread. Some epic burns in the last page.

I describe my self as a garbage omnivore. I eat anything, but mostly garbage. I work in a cheese factory, so I eat a lot of cheese. I like veggies, I like steak, and I like pizza rolls. After spending enough time as a poor bachelor, I lack the moral compass that many have to influence dietary choices. If it's food I'll eat it. I don't care what it is or where it comes from. I need food to live.

We have to kill to live, life in itself is a renewable resource. Things die, so others can be born. Circle of life. You know. Forests burn down so new growth can rise from the ashes... It just doesn't help that humans are violent by design, corrupted by greed, and have a unique habit of killing for sport or fun rather than sustainance. That is the concept that I believe makes this issue not so black and white... Before human society and agriculture, meat was food #1. It's why we are all here.

Hi; I have a dentist friend who rails against this. He thinks the mercury amalgam (sp) is safe. My plan is to have some other filling material if I need work in the future. I do not know enough to be sure one way or the other. I figgure having mercury in my mouth at least allows for the opportunity of some release. The stuff is supposed to be locked in the amalgam??

I've read so many conflicting things, it's hard to be sure. It's really about what source you trust. The WHO disagrees with the ADA about it. Who knows what's really the truth.
