why does evryone hate blood parrot

the colours are ok in the really expensive ones that i've seen but i cannot see any reason to pay 50 plus for blood parrots. what really turns me off is that every single one i've ever seen looks like it has downs syndrome or severe mental retardation plus how suseptible hybrid fish are to disease

I dislike hybrid parrots cichlids due to the deformities such as bent spines, asymetrical eyes and mouths so deformed that they cannot close them. If healthy hybrid, non deformed parrot cichlids are created, then I have no problems with them.
Nearly all of that have the strange hump on their back where their bent spine joins their heads. So basically I am against breeding fish for deformities such as these whether the fish is a hybrid or not.

Deformities existed in pure species......average blood parrots lived up to 15 years..so much for so-called health problems which are not found in Blood Parrots.
