Hey bottles! If the kid really does want to make it on his own, that IS really respectable. Im just assuming that money given by private donors or in this case the article concludes its tax payer money goes with the intention of assisting college students who may not be able to go to college otherwise. If I could connect the 2 cents I paid in taxes to send THIS guy to school, Id be irritated. Honestly I didnt even know Pdiddy had a college age son and I know nothing about the guy, obviously he has some level of intelligence and talent thats way beyond me, but people like me have to keep track of every dollar I give.
I do agree, and I'd rather see under privileged kids take advantage of the money (or people who need it more). It really is a small amount of money for Puffy, and a huge sum for many others.
I understand both sides, but it seems a little cruel to reward someone else who may be less deserving.
Solution: Kid keeps scholarship; Diddy makes a SIZABLE donation for the others haha.
