Keep in mind those Tetras were about 8-10" long..

Don't have more pix though.

They are built alot like ATF, but they are Characin and I think ATF are Cyprinid..

No, ATF are characin. Adipose fin + teeth = characin!

Cyprynids no not have adipose fins or teeth for the most part.

okay wasn't sure on that.. What other Characins come from Africa? I thought it was more exclusive to continent with a few exclusions..

Those Tetras all have adipose fins If I am seeing things correctly right? All Characin?

Many characins come from Africa. The distichodus sp and congo (obviously) tetras are some examples.

All tetras have adipose fins and are characins. Well there are a few that dont, dater tetras for example, that do not.

Has any one ever seen any rays from Argentina, Paraguay, and or Uraguay for sell?

I've got this male from argentina last year.....it might possibly be the real Pot. hystrix described originally from this region!
