why dont we have a brack photo thread?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you have one hell of a stunning tank. the bogwood is a really nice piece.

but c'mon brackish dude. pics go in the thread, not in your signature. thats where the 'witty facts' (cough), and random quotes live:)

broadbean. nice scats. and welcome to MFK. how big is the Big Feller?

this thread is a great idea ,, as brakish tank owners dont have as much choice in the lfs , its good to get some ideas from other brakish set ups , my dats and columbian sharks are in fw at the mo but will be bringing them up to brakish over the next few weeks then will prob increase to full marine over a few months later on when the fish get a bit bigger ,,

good man. they will look so much better in brackish. and generally be better for it. not sure on the dats though, it depends on what species you have. google says "if you want to keep datnoids in brackish you would need to get D polota or D campbelli". but doesnt say anything about keeping them in full marine. i know the columbian shark cats will need high end brackish/full marine as adults though.

for brackish fish i'd say try BAS ut its a bit far from you. they generally have a healthy stock of brackish animals. they had barramundi last time i was there. cheap too.

any pics of your fish. this thread is useless witout pics :)
