That's how I feel right now. I have 1 tank going and that is all the time I can spend on fish right now, with 2 jobs and other hobbies I just can't do several tanks right now. I hope it changes soon though there were some fish I had in the past that I would love to have again along with certain fish I still want to get.

the problem is i dont wanna get rid off the fish in the tank so not much i can do :(

I left the site, never really left the hobby, though I downsized big time because of haveing to move out of my house. Just dont have the money or the space for a big tank right now, my only tank is my 60 gal. Living out of one bedroom at my inlaws I'm glad to have room for that one 60, still I just dont feel the need to come on here and post and participate like I did when I had my other tanks. I am working on getting into law enforcment and if that works out maybe within the year (2010) I will be back in my own place and looking for a couple big tanks again. For now I will continue to browse the site periodically.

I'm down to 2 tanks. Just my main tank and my kids lil 5g tank. Things just get too busy. Day job, Djing, and family take a lot of my time. Still enjoy my fish, but not at the craziness I was at a while ago. I still come here and read, cuz MFK is still dope to me!!!

work/ moved away. but when i get back im going all out on my 1350 gal native tank. its still in pieces, i never got to put it together. but it will be one day.

i dropped out several times before...but usually came back quick.
some times it were because of losses, some because i knew i couldnt keep the fish i love, some because im a student and dont have much time on my hands.
but the joy or fishkeeping, and of course this forum, pulled me back in.

I've never really gotten out of the hobby or had the notion to quit.
I love water, & have kept fish, frogs, & or turtles since I was a small boy.
Fishing & power boating are another love of mine & own one of each boat.
All of these things are in my blood, & are my passion.
30 years old & my intrigue for the natural world is still very much alive.
As far as fish keeping I've never really gotten too expansive.
I think that helps me to not become overwhelmed & then burned out.
Hopefully the day will never come when I say I quit the hobby of fish keeping.

I left the hobby for only 2 months because of airsoft, and since both take up a lot of money I had to give up one. Now it's a mixture of both airsoft, herps, and fish.

I took a hiatus after a huge hurricane left me w/o power for weeks and most of my fish died, then I moved. Then I was too busy and preoccupied for the better part of a year, started back up then expanded. Nothing sadder looking than an empty tank.

I will never be ABLE to leave the hobby. I will never send a fish to its death by giving it to an lfs, and I can't stand to have empty tanks. It's an addiction...

Thts how i feel :D
