Why haven't Coldwater species have been popularized yet?

This is my last comment on this. Spend a little time on the net and you will find several studies that show browns displace brookies when both live together. I spent just a few minutes and found several. What they show is that brook trout when small do better than browns but as they grow the dynamic changes and browns take over. Think about it. Browns get much larger and are much more aggressive to the point of eating each other. Brook trout do not do that. That does`nt mean there are`nt rivers that are suitable for browns but not brookies, i`m sure there are. Browns can take slightly higher temps and that`s gives them an advantage but the key factor is they are more aggressive, larger fish.

Ill get some pics later, the chubs in that tank handfeed as well, as they have since day 3 of having them.

Screw pics take a vid

Any............ reasonable............... person...............has... to... admit........South America.................WINS!!! When it comes to catfish.

I know spotted gar, warmouth, orange spotted sunfish, rainbow darters, spotfin shiners, sculipins, and bowfins look really nice. For native fish atleast. I was infact planning on setting up a native 40 gallon with some darters and shiners since i always have access to them when I go snorkeling 1-4 times a week in the summer :)
