why is my bichir not aggressive

My delhezi is only aggressive towards food lol its like he hasn't eaten in a month, although I feed him everyday. Great fish to own. Mine approaches me now when ever I'm near the tanks.

my dovii died he jumped out the tank the real question was supposed to be why hasnt he been acting aggressive lately hes all better now hes always been aggressive then he stopped thats the reason i posted this i wanted to make sure nothing was wrong with him
