of course you could make the argument that i dont deserve the meat on my plate because the people that provide it to me dont respect the animals.

but i make sure to buy all organic and cage free chickens and i do the very best i can to insure the animals that i am eating didnt suffer a long horrible life.

but aside from buying a farm, there's not much else i can do beside be a vegetarian. so at least i try to be a good human being

Agreed. IMHO I don't think it's right to get all emo about the dogs and not defend the cows.

I think all animals are equal, and I take that to lenghts that others dont. I see NO PROBLEM with them eating dogs and cats, fine, I choose to keep them as pets but im not on this earth to change minds and push my beliefs.

Now, I don't think that any animal should be inhumanely killed, or harmed in any way, be it a cow ready for "processing" or the aforementioned "Dog being skinned alive"

Well I've actually read on a site, I'm sorry, but I don't remember the URL, the people skinning the dogs alive and hurting them as much as possible do it because the dog's adrenaline is a sexual stimulant for anyone who eats it.. Freaking perverted idiots. Same with tiger blood and ect.

If thats how he chooses to justify it. Same as me being an EMT and dealing with dead people and trauma victims. You tend to try to find a reason for it not to bug you as much. There is really no difference between a cow, pig, cat or dog. Did you know a pigs anatomy is closest to a humans of all animals?

My point is there is no such thing as a Humane kill. That is a term made up for people to deal with it without feeling bad.
