Wild-caught dovii update

Took some picks of the boy today. He is still at 9 inches but getting thicker.

Kinda distorted-looking in the second pic, but he is quite high-bodied.

He looks very tall for his length (in the 1st pic). He looks great though. I love the teeth. How long have you had him?

Holy cow! He is very high boddied for his length.Will be interesting to see him at an adult stage.Nice Dovii.

I've had him since last June. He was 1.5" when I got him from Ken Davis.

Thanks all. He is like a puppy dog and is probably the smartest fish I have. I used to get Malawi haps to chase a laser light all the time. Each time they saw it was like the first time they had ever seen it and they would chase it until I got tired of messing with them. This dovii chased it for less than a minute and won't chase it again, as if he remembers it isn't food.
