why people doing this. poor catfish suffer to death.

feeding a feeder is one thing but that is completely wrong. If I knew where this video originated I would be at that house and beat the p!ss out of that guy

Due to such videos peple think that snakeheads are gruesome and dangerous fish - these videos are one reason that Channa is forbidden in some countries ...
But ... there are similar videos existing about dogs killing different creatures ... is that a reason to prohibit dog-keeping?

Take a look at the tank: Micropeltes is a very agile fish - kept in a too little tank. Channa are smart fish - smarter than any other fish (maybe cichlids are as smart as snakeheads) ... this isn't a keeping-tank, this is a "tank" beyond words ... even a bath-tub is more comfortable!
In Germany the keeper of this snakehead would have to go to prison ...

big beutiful snakehead. tank way to small for it. everytime i see one of these snakehead videos the other fish is only half the size of the snakehead. if you put something in of equal or larger size i bet that snakehead wouldnt touch it.

i find it rather pathetic the owner of this snakehead treats fish unethicaly, and if he put in a equal size catfish (to the sh) i wonder what would happen.

The SH would more than likely kill it also.

Anyone ever see that thing on Natgeo about the 3'SN it was on natgeo on demand for awhile idk if it's still there

yea i think it was called fishzilla wasnt it?

but man thats a bit sad, i mean fair enough if it eats feeders but why spend that much money on something beautiful to feed it to the SH???? :(:screwy:

look at the colour on the snakehead! beautiful!
i rele hope mine grows like him!
Yeah, i seen that. Colored up right away... like went into "attack/threaten" mode. Eyes got blood red also. Beautiful animal!

I dont like these kinda videos. They always put smaller/weaker/defenseless animals in with another animal thats way bigger to be slaughtered. Then they record the whole thing. People like this need their fish taken away and be fined and thrown in jail. And never to be able to own animals again.

Watching animals die isnt a game.
