Wild caught red devil

If someone is selling "wild" 2" midas for $15.99 retail... chances are they're actually from a pond in Florida and not actually wild.

Just do the math.

Where is your store sourcing the "wild" midas and trimacs?

Matt

The Midas thing was just a reference I have no idea on what that price would be. But i did pay 39. + tax for my Trimac. And both Sharks Aquarium and Absolutely Fish are some of best retailers in the industry. You are quite the critical forum goer. George the owner of Sharks has his own expedition to source them. He even does it as a excursion for a price. Absolutely fish one of the most well trained and knowledgeable staffs too boot. Absolutely Fish has a Wild Jag currently in the bridge. Its only like a 5 hour drive from Maryland your welcome to check yourself. Being in our area and being 15 minutes from Newark Airport they have easy access for fish shipments with much less risk in transporting time and mishaps. Absolutely fish has a massive midnight madness event once a year, tons of vendors, and like 40% everything. That might be worth the drive.

Dog, for example Rapps has like 15 + wild caught fish in his current stock now. Do you think he's psychically collected them all??? Maybe 1/3 is a fair guess and that's a lot. So why is so hard for you fathum that big well to do speciality stores would have trouble sourcing fish if Mr. Rapps could? And if helps, I know Absolutely fish has gotten from both Rapps, and Seagrest Farms.

Pretty sure Matt's primary activities on MFK are doubting any wild caught cichlid is actually wild caught unless caught by someone he knows, trash talking on Don Conkel, talking about culturing red wiggler worms, and promoting local fish clubs.

The doubting wild caught fish and Conkel go hand-in-hand ;) Got lymph?

What can I say, red wigglers are AWESOME! Fish clubs, too...

Are you sure that George collects his own Central American cichlids?
