My male was absolutely drab even when he was ~6" since he was dominated by the (then larger) female a lot. He wasn't nearly as colorful as your pair - I guess it has to do with yours having "better blood" i.e., being wild caught, as opposed to being tank raised.

haha looks like tons of potential youngins. my pair recently popped out about 1000 a wonderful sight for a photo. when the swarm of that many frys around the parents. LOL to bad my camera sucks and i didn't get that shot...

Thanks fishfreak! I agree, hope they are coming back but I suspect flowerhorns are always going to overshadow our trimacs
It'll be interesting to see how many got fertilized, bummer you missed that shot, sounds like it would have made a great pic!
