Just a normal Silver Arowana.
There is nothing that says "wild" there.

I hope you didn't pay a premium for it!

it is silver and i believe its wild, i have no prove to say is not to them expect they sell the farm aro for half the price before they even acquire the 2 they have in their inventory.
i do not see whats the reason for them to lie about it and this is the LFS that carries every arowana that is legal in US for good price. this is the LFS where people would drive down 3-5 hours for a fish because their strong reputation and integrety.
if they lied the would put their good name at risk for what additional 20 bucks or less? :screwy:

Well, it's your money!
Why would they "risk" their good name for a extra $20?
Because they can get away with it, as you can't prove otherwise!

You need to stop getting so up tight when peoples opinions differ to yours.

SO where are the farms that produce these fish? In south america? Thats cool that these are farmed aswell. keep the wild fish safe. I owned my first silver and black around 18 years ago. I was under the impression they were all wc. Good to be informed.

For the op, when i first bought silvers, i tried to buy 4 babies against the shop owners advice . They fought each other to the death within a week in a 6 foot grow out tank. Untill there was one healthy one left and one almost dead one left. Other ppl have had better luck than i did. just have a back up plan in case they decide to scrap it out. Wouldnt want to see either of the aros die

yes they r and i know it long time ago and didnt really care about it till i see WILD silver aro and made a little talk about it with them

dont worry about it, yes i am a noob keeping an aro for myself because it is i feel i can afford atleast one now to have them comfortable and healthy.
and i pretty much know these fishes and traits.

the problem with these people they like to state the obvious, dont you think its just a retard
hey look theres an elephant infront of you..while i am actually staring at the elephant :screwy:
thats the impression i got from my stay here so far in this arowana forum :grinno:

since i moved to this town and observed many LFS arround, they prove their live up to their name.
i cant prove it but i can spot its wild fish, its just one of those gut feeling..
can you prove thats is not wild silver aro
i do not have problem when people opinion's different from me i would just agree to disagree, but i do have problem when they think they know it all, when they know nothing. those people needs to be proven wrong and hard.

u are not a noob just a bad fish keeper and you will always be a noob because u never want to learn , and i know mods are going to close this thread like all of your threads, now we dont hate you on mfk we just dont like how u ignore our advice we dont mean to be harsh to you its just were tryna get the info through to your head
