Will Halloween be Canceled?

.....and why is that?

I wish for covid to be over, I’m tired of it, Halloween will only spread it even when all precautions are taken. A child won’t die or be traumatized if they miss a Halloween. What child wants their parents to catch it? What parents wants their child to catch covid?

As much as I agree with Fishhead, The government can not shut down Halloween. A lot of people will be taking candy and everything. And Covid will spread especially to little kids - "I don't want Snickers, Give me Laffy Taffy". It will definitely be a Covid spike

I think many local governments will call a halt to door-to-door treaters. Not Nationally, and not in any place where it would probably be a really smart idea . . .

But what if the Media decides to cancel it? Defenders will be vilified. I don't think many ideas can withstand a real media barrage.

i suppose kids are wearing masks....

i live in WA and most likely things will not happen here.... i’ll leave candy out... don’t plan on interacting with strangers.... we usually only have 2-4 groups of kids here on a traditional year....

sadly it’s died off here since i was a kid....
