I said well you do understand everything but the barbs will get atleast a foot

Are we talking here about those little barb that are a schooling fish and that have a pecking order. Each time you add a new barb they redo the pecking order. If that is that i never knew it would get to a feet. All the information on the internet say they max out at 3" and are ok to put in a 20 gallon

Clown loach do get to a feet thought.

New one tonight:

Customer: What can I keep with an Oscar in a 42 gal?

Me: Depends, but you'll need a bigger tank inside of 12 months, and Oscars can be aggressive.

Customer: OK, what would they be ok with? Show me.

Against my recommendation, I bagged a Jewel Cichlid, a Firemouth, and another Oscar.

Customer: Should I get an algae eater right away?

Me: No, most of those plecos don't eat much algae. And you shouldn't have additional bioload anyway.

Customer: Well, it's clean anyway. I just set it up a week ago.

Me: :banhim: :irked:    :( :screwy: :screwy: :screwy: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear:  :jaw: :eek3: :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :nutkick: :nutkick: :nutkick: :jaw-dropp :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :OMG: :OMG: :OMG: :hypnotize :hypnotize :nono: :nono: :nono: :mr-t: :bs: :bs: :bs: :uhoh: :uhoh: :yuck: :thumbsdow :thumbsdow :thumbsdow :duh: :duh:     :angryfire :angryfire :headshake :headshake :headshake :newbie: :newbie: :newbie: :WTF: :WTF: :WTF: :WTF: :WTF: :lipsseale :shakehead :shakehead :shakehead :1zhelp: :WHOA: :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip

I think it was around 30 bucks, I'm not buying live stock from that place any more, only hardware and food.

Sometimes, yes. I think it really depends on the area. Around here in the South US, I've seen em for 30 to 50$ and further South around 100$.

I started working in a fish department. I'm sure I'll have stories.

LOL.

Every day when I drive to work I see these idiots. Doing incredibly stupid moves. In fact I'm convinced half of the people in the world are accomplished idiots and the other half are practicing hard to become one.

I won't comment on which half I'm in. ;)

Water test report:

Last night I had a customer tank that blew up the test for Ammonia and nitrite, and nitrates could fertilize a cornfield. Worst I have seen yet.
