Will these fish mix?

i think they would go well together but then the tank is small for those fishes mentioned especially the ID shark.

The 55 is too small for the fish you have. I would get at least a 125 and ditch the id shark they can get to 39 inches in a few years and are an open water fish. They need tons of room.

it doesn't matter the fact that you're right ....he's going to keep asking until someone will give him the answer he expects ....it seems to be the trend .

Hey now nomad. I'm just trying to learn and get as many answers as possible and if I can scape by with a smaller tank (parents wishes) then I will. If not then I wont get the fish.

So, The knife and the Eel in a 125? that would be a good setup?

And could I do all three in a 240 that is 8 feet long?

BGK grow very slowly. Had mine for 2 years now, got him at about 4" and he is now 8" in a 60-Gallon.

if ur gonna bump to a 180 anyways, u might as well go 180 now rather than spending the money on a 55 then a 180 later too. grow em out in the 180 then go 500 like u said if u know those are the fish u want.

I actually believe it or not just got a 55 and a 75. Full salt water set ups. More details later... Going into the monter life!!

skip out on the id shark and the 55g will be good for awile.
