it is doing great, wound is almost healed up by now. I'd say about 60%-70%
 
I'll try to take some pictures later but you can see it in the feeding video I posted yesterday. not very clear but you can get an idea.
the opening is closed already and just waiting for the rest of the belly to grow back.
 
the piraya is in there, look harder...you might need a pair of glasses :) j/k
it's at the back and didn't join the feeding, camera shy I guess. I'm really starting to like the wild Ecuador red I picked up from SA more and more.
