i had p's in worse shape than that litttle guy. I would seperate him and use melafiix treatment.
Well, .... Did he make it??? It has been 12 days since the original posting, Did it eventually make it through this gnarly bite? Has it started to heal? Any pics?
I'm so glad I found this! I have the same problem with one of mine, but the wound isn't that big. I was freaking out and then I saw how yours made it! Way to go and thanks for being an inspiration!
nice...lol...not to be cruel, but thats kinda cool to see a beautifully healthy looking fish with a chunk missing. no blood, no foul. separate like everyone else said and no salt. thats only good for the slime coat. not the insides. imagine a deep cut on ur arm. would u put salt on it. well maybe. to stop from bleeding but it will burn like hell. if an organ was targeted, there should be some kinda colored fluid coming out. like i said, no blood, no foul.
