not sure about black tetras, they go crazy for food, kinda looking for a tetra thats not so aggressive. neon's would fall under this category, or even rummy nose.
they r a bit larger than neon's, cuz im not sure how aggressive neon's are during feeding time, but i need something that wont be eating my cories food like my angels do. my swordtails eat the pellets too.....
