Damn... I think I may be one of the only people I know that had their wisdom teeth grow in, and not have anything bad happen as a result, or just not get them taken out all together.
I only remember for a good week or two, my gums in the back of my mouth were real sore because the tooth was stretching/thinning out the gums in the back, and I would bite them accidently when I chewed. About three days after I finally mentioned something to a family member about being in "excruciating" pain (I have quite a high tolerance of pain mind you), it finally subsided, and I noticed the teeth.
They didn't grow in sideways, just slightly crooked - which I can live with... I feel no pain or discomfort, and it's been that way for a couple of years (I think I was 18 when they came in, i'm 20 now).
