The largest Wolf fish I know of is the Black Wolf fish, which gets to be 40 inches. (Hoplias macrophthalmus)

I had to put mine in its own tank after it bit up my Oscar, Pacu, and two Knife's. Very cool fish, but just not something you should get if your going to put it with any other fish.

EDIT: Just saw your video of you Red Wolf fish. I don't get how he gets along with them so well. Is it becuase the older and larger they get the less aggressive they become? Mines only about 5 inches (Maybe 4) and is just way to aggressive to be with any thing I put it with. Fights fish that are 5 times his size. Then again, no fish would mess with a Raphael, but I don't see why he doesn't eat the Bichirs. It can go with fish like that, but large cichlids and others is still a risk. Still shouldn't have tankmates.

Although, unless he sees the fish as food or is just in a bad mood he leaves them alone. I didn't intoduce tankmates to him until he was 5" so dunno if it's a juvi thing or not. He's now about 8.25" though, I guess he just knows he's King.
