He is currently in a 10-Gallon until he gets a little larger, then he will be upgraded to a larger tank. (Look for a 55-Gallon+ right now with some luck).

Thats probably it then.. A 10g is pretty small even for a 4.5" red wolf. Mine has always been kept in a tank with a 48" length. Right now he's in a 48x18x13 50g breeder.

See, I ddid have him in the 60-Gallon, but then becuase he was biting everyone he passed or that passed him, I had to put him by himself in the 10-gallon.

what food do u feed to ur red wolf fish to retain there color? sorry about asking so much question i am new to wolf fish

Mine eats Hikari Carnivore as a staple, he also gets Cichlid Gold, night crawlers, shrimp, krill, tilapia, and Omega one shrimp pellets. Just like with any other fish variety is best.

Keep in mind red wolves almost always lose their bright juvi colors.

They range in price. Expect to tack on $50-60 for shipping if your LFS can't get them in.

Mine took pellets immediately.
