You wolffish should just be fed as much as he will eat, without any left over food, whcih will spoil in tank and pollute water. 2" pirahna? hummm depends on size of wolf? Would not advise, maybe someone else tried that combo?

you can never over feed a wolf fish if its live feeders because it will eat what it wants and soon enoughe you have to buy more feeders now for the 2 inch parahnna i wouldent do it the wolf would go after it just because its a moving food source thats there nature especially when liights are out believe me my wolfs like to kill at night and i still remember one morning looking into the tank to see my arrowanna floting on top with a chunk out of his gut by my wolf

You guys should try alittle harder to lean them off live food. There one of the easiest to do so. Also they will jump out if given the chance. I had to tape my lids down, just because they were closed didnt mean much to them:grinno:

Please give some advice on alternates to live food. Also, your right on the jumping out.
I originally had two wolf fish.About 10 years ago,one jumped out.I secure top with plate glass. He still hits glass on occasion, especially when its feeding time.
