no offence or anything but...i think lesson learned dont let people take care of your fish ... that dont no how to actually take care of fish ( fish stores well some of them do offer a baby sitting option for your fish ......) and plus its like sayin to your dog feed the kids and watch them now be a good boy seeya (pats the dog on the head dog wags tail fureasly and turns around to chase a cat)
i let my mom take care of one of my community tank which only held a weather loach and a few apisto's. anyways i came home and found she had fed only the apisto's and the loach's food wasnt even open. so i scooped the dead loach out, froze it and put it on her pillow. wow was that a funny night.

I found my 1st river trout fish in the stream nearby the lake. It brought me very much hapiness and joy while i cared for it. feeding it little nibbles and watching it grow. Goyder was always special to me and always will be. my g/f and i lived together but she didn't like the fish that much. smell???
she didnt care for him, but i did. i was in love with Goyder and my gf, i wanted to proposeand marry. so i sit up a romantic diner moonlight and ask. but she ddint say yes but to think about it. anyways ways my fish was getin sick , he was swimmin slower and the tank wasnt thatclean but i try to clean it. but i had no time. i had to leave for trip for 7-8 days. then the unspeakable happened......
my fish died
i cried then my gf make fun of me so i tell her to go after the fight.

advice: for all men here dont let your gf take care of ur fish. she will kill them!

Ok, firstly I'm sorry that your fish is dead.
But before you blame your girlfriend for the fish dying, why not try blaming yourself? Your pet, your responsibility. You don't have time, make time. Simple.
I am a female, I take care of my fish ... and surprise surprise, they are all alive.
This site is full of women who not only can "take care" of a fish, but take care of multiple fish, multiple tanks of varying sizes.
So now your fish dies and you can blame her? Ok not nice that she laughed at you, but seriously?
Here is a tip - if your tank isn't look "that clean" thats a sign for you to clean it. If you say you tried to clean it but you didn't have time, which is it? Did you try or did you just not bother because you were too busy.
Sorry for the rant but I think generalizing that fish and women don't mix just because he can't care for his is just plain rude.
