That's why I'm torn. On one hand anyone touched one of my friends I's be making use of an LTC (Licence to carry). However I had a friend GF kill his fish just to prove a point. If your willing to kill someone elses pets just to get attention what the hell else are you willing to do. Violence is ONLY ever ok for defensive purposes. The odd thing was when I said I'd want to stomp the crap out of her for it my wife agreed with the sentiment.

Also most abusers are cowards so slapping them around is both fun and safe, they run like little children when threatened. Like I said torn, as on the other hand. If your willing to intentionally kill my pets why should I view you as a human being.

ah yes now I can see here is a scary bit of truth for you

a great many of the most horrific people who have carried out travesty in the name of murder and violence against people have one common trait

they intentionally did harm to animals even killing them just for the sheer fun and amazement of it

you can very well tell the internal nature of a person by the way they relate to and treat animals

I'm strangely torn between agreeing with you and checking my LTC rules.

If you first response to any person that dose something you don't like is violence the you should take up Russian Roulette and not knitting. However if she intentionally killed my pets or tried I will grab her by the scruff on her shirt and throw her out the door. Any of her buddies who want to come after me for that are fair game for the morgue.

I am not saying dont get angry, I am not saying to not remove the person from your company, but, seriously to make it look like a joke to bodily harm a lady to me is just not funny.

Our world is replete with examples of battered women who ended up in the very morgue you speak of all because people did not have the balls to step in and take care of business.

I recall one night when I walked into the apartment I was sharing with my sister and her hubby in vancouver. I could hear the fight all the way down the hall and when I entered the apt, these were the words I heard

"YOU ()&&*^%&*%&^%$&%&*^ your lucky I never hit you!!!!!"

to which a leather jacket clad punker of 6 4' 250lbs strolled down the hall sat down in the living room and proceeded to tell dave over a peacefully shared communal object "Actually, you are lucky you never hit her!!"(if my memory serves me correct) edit:I used to wear cork boots

I just think its not such a light thing to talk about violence against women, or actually violence for that matter

Growing up as a battered child with a battered mother I agree. Its a large part of the reason I started Karate to be honest (Flame suit on) But by the time I was 15 and was capable (competing in vegas etc) he miraculously stopped beating us.

I dont pick on the little cowards for a few reasons
1 being it would be used against me in court that i carry several registered black belts
2 I could not go to most of my karate studios they seriously frown on voluntary self determined violence
3, why beat up a sniffling coward when you can carry them over your shoulder to the police station and let some big 300 pound guy rape them all night every night for years

my girlfriend is ok she does water changes for me, help me ship out my fish, feed them, bought my linear air pump for me, and gave me 200 bucks to buy fish from the swap meet
