For JuxtaRoberto: Well, life is full of disappointment. If you can not handle a fish loss, imagine how you feel and handle when you lost someone you love ( mom, dad, wife, husband...etc...). Talking about sensitivity, if my girlfriend were important to me enough, I will get rid of the fish just to make her happy. As a matter of fact, I did get rid of the datnoid, just because my wife does not like it when I feed live feeder.

It's not just a fish loss! It's like telling someone, "Well, your baby was only like 2 years old when it died. You couldn't have gotten that attached!" Fish are like any other pet, like a dog or a cat or anything! If my Pacu died I'd be bummed out for months!

No time? I do 125, 75, 55, 20, and 10 in what seems to be a very short period of time (for the past two weeks 10g WC every day plus treatment and I montior progress in a log)

He said he was getting ready for a trip for 7 days. He must not have had time, we should believe what he says. Not everyone has time to do water changes everyday.

His gf didn't even say yes when he asked to get married. When your gf hesitates to say yes to marriage, something is up. Probaly good that it happened now then the day before the wedding.
