He is being dead serious and I feel for the guy. He just lost his fish and his girlfriend and you guys are laughing at him?

The reason for his bad grammar is probably because he is from Africa and English probably isn't his first language. ???????WTF??????????

That's too bad East Korea, I'm sorry for your loss.

For JuxtaRoberto: Well, life is full of disappointment. If you can not handle a fish loss, imagine how you feel and handle when you lost someone you love ( mom, dad, wife, husband...etc...). Talking about sensitivity, if my girlfriend were important to me enough, I will get rid of the fish just to make her happy. As a matter of fact, I did get rid of the datnoid, just because my wife does not like it when I feed live feeder.

His situation is like. You lost your best pet freind, and cried. and his girl was like "haha!! look at this ***** crying"

it sucks that your ex-gf was so insensitive. Im a big softy when it comes to my pets and my wife knows this. she hates that i seem to be collecting more and more equipment "just in case i need it" and the amount i spend. but she also knows that she cant change me. she knows i look at my fish on equal terms with my dog.

Tan, it was blatantly more than just getting rid of a gf because she didnt like his fish. the woman was obviously insensitive. even if she didnt like the fish she didnt have to gloat on its death and be a cow about it. she should have been caring and understanding seeing as how much it hurt East_Korea, thats what being in a relationship is about. even if you couldnt care less you keep your mouth shut and comfort your partner the best you can.

My Gf hates things with nippers, lobsters, crabs, yabbies, and scorpions, mainly scorpions. She gave me a hundred for my 22 birthday and told me i could get whatever i wanted. Well i decided i wanted a Flinders range scorpion, endemic to Central Australia, they grow up to 15, 16cms and can be quite friendly towards humans as long as you aren't allergic to bees. So i buy this little fella cute as a button (to me) for $30, some rain forest flooring and pin crickets and give him a nice little home away from the tv and vibrations. It chills out for a few days upon coming home. Then it burrows shows it self every now and then and just adjusts into our home. One day my Gf went crazy with a can of Raid now he's dead, coincidence you tell me???

I'm really sorry your fish died, but not as sorry about your girlfriend. That fish was important to you, and if she couldn't at least understand that you cared about your fish, then to hell with her. This time you cared about your fish, and next time you care about something that she doesn't it would be there same thing. Your fish may have died just in time to save you from a life time of misery with a woman who did not care about your feelings or realize the value of having a man that can care for something as vulnerable and odd as a fish. People that can care about animals, often have a great compassion for people that are in a vulnerable state because they can empathize with another being. Obviously, she didn't even have the ability to empathize with another human being much less an animal. Trust me. If she treats you like that over your fish, the last thing you want to do is marry her and have her have your babies!

I'm sure this all really sucks, even if you logically know this maybe for the better. I wish the best to you, and hope you find a woman that not only cares about you and your feelings, but also a woman that thinks that your fish are cool. :)
