Working dog or show standard?

Another thing, a Bandog is only Neo and pitt.

And, last, one breed ( no risk of you getting it ) i will never trust with kids is the Portuguese Fila ( fila sao miguel )
 
When I talked to the guy who owned one of those, Miguel, he said if someone tried to put a hand over his fence it would probably be gone in seconds.. Still, when Im in my own house you need to find me one. Awesome dogs when in the right hands!
Wouldn't trust a malinois with kids, either, though...
 
Most dangerous and unpredictable breed i know Ben.

Just now started being tretaed as pets. Born, raised and died in the cattle pen.

Of course i will get you one. It is easy within europe.

Portuguese Fila look like they are part hyena..... miguel do you get heart quard and flea meds and rabies for your dogs.. here in USA we are required by law to get rabies.. and due to mosquitos the heart worm med is a nessesity because it is very active here.. as cold as our winters get the vets wants me to keep the dogs on preventitives all year long... just curious if you have these concerns in your country..

And, we have Leichmaniosis all over, which is even worse...it is endemic in hot countries.

Only breed immune to it, that i know of, is the rhodesian ridgeback.

And yes, Filas have the same pattern as hyenas. I always say that.

Having seen and petted a fila de Sao miguel (and fallen in love!!) I do not doubt you Miguel! They are 100% pure muscle and if their owner does not like you you have a very big problem...

Filas do not go out of the property.

Problem is people that go in, like the mail man and cleaning personnell.

Awfull stories i know.

my son in law has a rhodesian ridgeback.. i will mention it to him..
 
One I saw had a "normal" sand-coloured mastiff pattern though. Miguel , do you own any spanish mastiffs / mastin español?
 
I love the look of the Rafeiro do Alentejo they remind of a smaller version of the Central Asian Ovcharka.
