I think you should try spreading your calories out more.

Yes about 3 pieces of chicken(about 3/4 of my palm size) My hand is like 4-5 inches across. I didnt really measure the potatoes or the brocolli so thats why im estimating some.

I will try to spread my calories more, but its thta im not hungry usually all of the day until certain times(lunch and dinner). But it is something i must do. When i was with my personal trainer she made me eat every 2-3 hours to maintain a steady metabolism.
 
Next time take the banana and nuts with you or eat before :) They shouldn't weigh your stomach down hardly at all and should provide you a boost of energy for your workout. Plus you'll be less ravenous after. Drink water with it, and then when you get back have a piece of fruit or a cup of milk, depending on what type of workout you did.


Okay ... you say you aren't hungry during the day until meal times and then you seem ravenous. Maybe take your personal trainer's advice. Don't eat such big meals and you will be more hungry throughout the day as well. You can have a big meal every once and a while, but don't make a habit. It is very hard on your metabolism, and your body is digesting and storing more of the food than if you were eating smaller amounts, allowing it to utilize a higher percentage of what you have taken in and storing a much smaller amount.
 
instead of the frap, have the juice then, it will most likely give you more energy then a sugary caloric filled coffee drink.

Its been going pretty darn good actually.

I am now down to 263 pounds.

I have to say though, i have been slacking this past 2 weeks as far as diet and exercise go. I have only lost about 5 pounds these last 2 weeks and lost about 10 the 2 weeks before.

Slow and steady :)
 
I'm in the same boat as you.. I am also trying to lose weight.. it is however, harder for women. :(

Went out and bought a treadmill today, going to be buying some multi vitamins, some foods high in iron (since I am anemic), and about 4 cases of water to start.

My goal is to lose 8-10 lbs a month. This means that I will be down 100+ lbs by this time next yr; just in time for my wedding!

4/14 279, 6/3 263, where are you today? i have no idea of what healthy numbers are but is 2 lbs a week a good recommended loss? you said you lost 10 lbs in one two week period so 16 lbs for eight weeks ( 6 lbs in the other 6 weeks ) seems very small in comparison. did you make your 250 goal on 6/14?
