i can't see why you would take the pills??? in no way am i any kind of expert in this arena but after watching years of BL it seems to me the goal is to get off pills?? wont a healthy diet and regular exercise do everything you need??

i am 6'2 and peaked at 250. i was able to drop to 195 in one year with just diet changes. ( gosh i was eating so poorly ). either way it feels great to take the weight off so keep up with it.

will the parents and gf keep your feet to the fire?? that support system is so important. hold yourself accountable to your goals. good luck on this journey.

subscribed for sure!

Thanks for the comment. Taking pills or not is a very debatable issue and everyone has their own opinion on it. IMO if its something that will help me out and doesn't have any harsh side effects, why not? This is talking of course about your normal multivitamin, vitamin c, Omega 3, and other pills. Besides these i will also take L-Carnitine as a liquid and hope to not have to start on the prescription ones!

My dad has a weight loss program in his clinic and he has a bunch of pills that are natural and help you out with hunger as well, but these are prescription. The one i was talking bout before(cocaine in a pill) reduces your appetite for 4-6 hours and theirs a stronger one that works all day. Besides that it gives you more energy. The only side effects are insomnia if you take the pill too late, and youd have to be a druggy to OD on these things.

Once I am down yo around 210 then I'll start with mucle building. I hope my bench is as good as before, or at least close to. I use to be able to bench 315 4-5 times
That's great. I used to max a little higher than that, but that was some years ago. I think you'll do fine if you stick to it.

I would recommend add more protein to your breakfast. People who eat a high protein breakfast eat 100 less calories at lunch. You will feel fuller and it will help with snacking.

I would not recommend pills. You have mentioned that gaining weight back is something that you have done before. Pills increase your likelyhood of yo-yoing. I would also recommend increasing the amount of protein you eat. With your diet you planned above you are light on protein. As you lose weight you will lose muscle mass. If you are consuming enough protein it will help replace the muscle. This way the fat is what leaves.

Not sure if you saw my thread, but I might a lifestyle change and have lost 109 lbs so far. Over the last 4 months lifting is more of focus now. My entire weightloss was built on eating right with water and milk being the only thing I drink. Right now I drink 4 gallons of milk a week (fat free). My good friend is a strong man, and even he was surprise at how well the milk is going for me. I am not a big fan of protein shakes. I have been considering add them into my meal plan after I get the rest of my fat off.

I am totally in support of your life change, and will gladly shoot you a keep it up message from time to time! Good luck, if I can do it, you can!

Thanks for the support Mike.

If you could please provide a link to your thread for me!

Okay so i pretty much already finished my meals for the day.. lets recap.

Day #1
Today i did 1 1/2 hours of cardio at the nearby park combined with pushups, and dips.

For breakfast i only ate a couple strawberrys since i woke up late and it was lunch time in a few hours.

For lunch i had an approximately 3-4 oz piece of chicken and some protein soup.

For dinner(ate at 7) I had my home made tuna salad.

Lots of water throughout the day, and havent been hungry!

Well today was another sucessful day, and with each day that passes my stomach keeps shrinking.

This is what i ate today:
Chicken breast and thigh with lettuce and tomato salad for lunch(at around noon)
4-6 oz steak( at around 5)
And ill probably make some tuna salad by 8 or 9. I know im no supposed to be eating that late, but at least its something healthy, and my gfs coming by so im sure ill burn the calories off ;).

As far as working out, today i did at least 30 laps of a huge pool in my grandpas building, but thats pretty much it, didnt go to the park.

The plan for tomorrow is to hit the park early for at least an hour and a half.

I stay away from sodas and fast food 98% of the time actually.Other then that,I went from 260Ibs to 210Ibs which I am 5'7.I was 205,but since I am lifting weights with cardio,my weight has gone up in a good way that is.It is hard like you said, but I feel that after a while of losing the weight, you should be eligible to eat almost anything you want that isn't mcdonald related junk, keep it up though.

Good luck.

I train with my mom to help her lose weight. We go cycling usually every day and she's doing close to 100 miles a week. In November she's going to try to do the tour of Tuscon which is a 109 mile race. For her its just finishing, but for me I'm looking to place well...Reminds me I need to go for a ride today

Forgot to update yesterday...

Yesterday i went to the park and worked out for an hour, mostly jogging and some intense walking for 20 minutes up and down a 30 foot hill. My thighs are on fire!

Yesterday i ate a steak for lunch, and some tuna for dinner.

Today i didnt work out since we went to West Palm Beach to visit my grandma. We had a good time, and i had a very good lunch. The real diet starts tomorrow.

Thanks to all that are following and for the support!
