10gal ? No the normal home for the GSP is in my 60gal pictured above. Return ? I would never. I Guess it would be a nice time to upgrade.... nice little 120gal with the correct substrate. She/He is more along the lines of 3-3.5in not 7...

The substrate is a fairly decent plant substrate but I would think it to be a horrible choice for brackish. The Strantum is meant to drop pH and KH to acidic levels so I imagine hitting it with the saltwater mix is causing it to break down even faster than the norm.

You had an ill puffer & then you bought more??? I'd get those plants out of there, before they start to rot from the salt & start raising the SG .002/week. Use aragonite sand & prepare to eventually make this tank marine.

Oh wonderful I wasn't planing on going full marine just yet. Oh well. Time for an upgrade whether or I am ready. At this point I need to do what best for my little guys. What plants can live in marine ?
I would say he told me to get more fish for a solution for a quick sale. But I got the 2 other guys for free ?! I just did a charcoal change in my canister filters yesterday. They looked out of breath. So I panicked and bought a bubbler with an air stone for a 100gal. I hope I am not doing anything wrong with them. I hope I am not over "parenting". Thanks for all of your help. This morning he seems to be just sulking again. Maybe it's because he back in his tank ?

Look into some of the macro algaes, there are a lot of nice ones out there that is presentable for a display and serve a purpose as well.

From my experience most nice macro will not take over, chaeto will only grow in the presence of high nutrients, otherwise it's just thrives or dies off. The pictures I posted were after a year of growing and tank had several messy eaters to try and feed the macro but it never grew as much as most claimed it would.
But nutrient export in the means of trimming or removing excess macro is probably one of the better ways of nutrient control. Like any planted tank, trimming is needed to present a manicured look and to allow proper growth.

I don't really care for display. I can give 2 SHIPS what other people think about my(his home) tank. The oh this is nice or OH THIS IS NICE !! Factor isn't what I would like to accomplish. I was something that they will be comfortable with. Whats there natural environment? Granted they go from fresh to brackish to marine through there lives. I want make they're home similar to what they would get out in the wild. Just like if I was decorating my house. I don't need the lastest and greatest gizmos and gadgets. I would like to make it feel like they are home... I don't mean to come off as an A-hole or anything. Don't get me wrong I love aquascaping! But it may look nice to me. But the fish may hate it ? Iono maybe I am over thinking it !? Ekikewhoa I love the look of your tank !! It's simple yet natural. I want something like that ! You have seen my tank. I have a stupid castle in there. Not very natural if you ask me.
