Worst tank accident?

Was filling up my fresh water reservoir for my auto-top off system with my ro system on my old 150gal reef tank before work one morning. Forgot to turn the water off and left for work, got a call from the apt manager when my neighbors called her and said their carpet was getting wet. There was approx 100 gallons on the floor when i made it back home. I had a rottweiler so the apt people wouldn't go in until i got home. After i moved into my house shortly after that, they made a no big fish tank rule...
 
Anytime water gets on the floor it's bad in my opinion. Lol. Like last night hose for fill came out of the tank and then as I got that one the siphon hose came out. What luck.

I had a freshly won fair goldfish in a 5 gallon tank when I was in junior high... Two days after I won it the tank sprung a leak and completely flooded the room... Bobcat the goldfish died of fin rot a couple weeks later, in his new ten gallon tank...
 
Two weeks ago I came home to a wet floor. Thought my 55 gallon tank had a leak. Its an older tank and stand so its made of not so good plywood. Turned out to be my feeder tank under it. The filter was so clogged that it was jetting all the water from the filter out of the top onto the plywood floor of my heavy as all hell tank. It soggied up the whole bottom and for a whole two days I was scares my tank was going to come crashing to the floor. I had three fans blowing into the cabinet to dry it with two smaller fishtanks half fast set up up on my floor next to it! Scared the heebeegeebeez out of me!
 
After a water change I decided to just leave the siphon end on top of the tank. It feel in the tank and drained my whole aquarium. When I went to the tank my pleco and Jack Dempsey had no water. I quickly filled the tank. This was about three years ago and both fish are doing great.
 
I've yet to have a leak or a tank bust. Come close to dropping one but have been lucky (one of my bestfriends fell off the last step of my apartments stairs with a tank I had just given her.. tank didn't bust but damn if it wasn't funny lol) My biggest mishap was being a nice friend and housing a fish before quarantining it. It ended up getting ick which wiped out half my stock and I ended up killing most of my aquarium plants (mosses, ferns, swords, grasses & floating plants that had been growing in there for over a year) by soaking them in hot water. I'm still trying to recover from that, so my tank still looks like crap...

Also (before I knew how important water dechlorinator was) when I had my 45g Goldfish tank, ran out of Aquasafe & decided to do a tank change anyway. Long story short most of them died. Now I swear by it and probably over use it lol

When I was a noob, I kept African cichlids in a little 10g tank. I had 1 6inch colbalt blue mbuna, bumblebee, ETC some others(dont remember the rest). The 10g tank I had in the kitchen was around 10-15yrs old and it started to leak all over the tile floor and we didnt know where the water was coming from untill was half empty(yikes lol). Lucky I had no fish loss but just a wet floor and the 10gals' side was cracked in the center down which is weird?
 
Had my 56 gallon column split a seam yesterday right before I got home from work it was a damn mess right through my bedroom floor on the second floor a right through the ceiling below it

I had a stand for my 30 gallon I was using for my that wasn't meant for so much weight. I also had a 10 under it. So the stand broke while I was in the room. The ten gallon broke the 30 gallon Just completely flip on its side spilling out gravel and water and all. 40 gallons total spilled on the floor

about 2 years ago i wanted to try a planted tank so i converted my 210 to one added a do it your self co2 bottle with the air hose running into my sump i woke up the next morning the air hose got sucked up into the pump sucking the yeast mix in to the tank. it looked like someone filled the tank with milk i wanted to throw it all away i was so mad it took 9 75% water changes to clear it up good thing no fish were in there yet lol
