I'm talking about certain food from brands, not in general (such as Top Fin Shrimp Pellets). What have you tried w/ a lot of your fish that none would eat?

frozen or freeze dried tubifex worms, and freeze dried brine shrimp (doesn't matter which brand).

not even my oscar will touch either of those for more than a second.

 

[Fish on Fire]

Omega One= Only a few of my fish took it willingly. Colors were same as when the fish were on Hikari Staple.

NLS= Pellets get ignored a lot. Growth formula gives average results, not worth the extra buck.

Tetra= Mini cichlid granules gave me the best growth rate I've ever gotten from any of the other brands. Colors were also off the hook. One of the most readily accepted food for juvenile cichlids IME.

Hikari= Staple was as good as any NLS or Omega One pellet I've ever tried. Bio-Gold+ has quickly shown itself to be superior to NLS as once I got my juvenile fish onto Bio-Gold+ their coloration has improved drastically. NLS Growth pellets are too small, they get ignored by anything over 1.5". Any fish I've ever had prefer to eat Hikari pellets and thrive on it. You get more than your money's worth IMO.

This generic brand of floating goldfish pellets, no fish eat them so I soak in water and give to my crayfish they seem to like them.

not a big fan of those tetra crisps or whatever they're called, never seen too many fish accept these, although that was from when I worked at a pet store, not so much with my personal fish

I'm with this guy....flakes stink. Fish become very disinterested in them very quickly, and it takes no time at all for them to cause a clog in your filter once they get soggy.

Omega One and Hikari are my foods of choice.

My giant danios bichir and cory cat absolutely love these tropical crisps from tetramin They LOOK healthy. I also feed them frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp

I found some stuff called "rainbowfish red" to be sort of junky food, my baby oscar grew extremely slow at first and made tonnes of poo. Once I got Omega-1 cichlid pellets he grew an inch a month for 10 months.

I got the stuff for color enhancement, the people at a place called "Aquagiant" fed their blood parrots Rainbowfish red and they were a nice red color...
