Looking for a good cleaner fish for my 55 gallon, just wondering if a bristlenose pleco or two would be fine with my 9 inch BP. she's pretty aggressive, coming up on 9 years old now, nothing else in the tank but her
if not bristlenose, then any other pleco species suggestions or any other cleaners?

Yes. They’d be fine in a 55g. However, if the bp won’t tolerate tankmates then bristlenoses will be at risk. Is it for algae control? Could try nerite snails.

I agree, for the most part bottom dwellers will be ignored but, this will depend on your parrots personality.
If it is hyper aggressive and won’t tolerate tank mates you could have problems.
You could add a bunch of caves and hides for the plecos and rearrange the tank before you add them. These things will help minimize the risk.

yeah she's the aggressive type that attacks nets and siphons, so i'll try adding more driftwood or something
