I probably don't.. I don't know what that is lol..
Anyways, here are some pictures of the tank and filter(I got some close ups of the fixed crack in it) and for funzies I got a good picture of my pleco :D

UV's are for clearing up water quality, have installed them on tanks that look just like yours (or worse) and they are liquid crystal now. Worth a try! :D

Try using the filter extensions that came with bothfilters. Maybe you have an algae or bacteria bloom. It can also be you pleco pushing massive eliminations. I just read an article about large plecos eliminating large amounts of waste in a regular tank, "That will even kill the strongest goldfish."

If using the extension hoses doesn't work try this. Eliminate the gravel in this tank, your fish should be fine. If there is nothing for the excess debris, etc... to cling to, it will get sucked up by the filters. Easier maintenance for you also.

Well my water parameters weren't that bad were they? I know nitrates should always be 0 but atleast it isn't a ten and everything else is 0. I have sand in this tank and the waste just sits on top plus this filter didn't come with anything fancy, just the tube thing the filter and the sponge. There doesn't look like there is room for any other tubes or anything:confused:

But what exactly is it? Like a light?

Yes, but it has to be housed in a way that it gives exposure to the water, and not you as it is harmful, hence why it helps kill off everything bad in the water, making it very clear. From algae to bacteria to parasites, it helps a lot!

Here is one I use on my tank that requires no external pump, hoses or anything, just drop in and go, so it is a VERY user friendly unit. http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+4393+19643&pcatid=19643

You can find that same one on ebay for a LOT less price. Got mine for like $35 buck with shipping and works like a champ and my water is, as said before, liquid crystal! :D

Also, if you get one (and again, I do recommended that!) make sure it is the right watt for your size tank, I have the 9w for my 55, it will do up to a 100 gallon so for your 75, your set as well!

Here is a picture of the extension strainer(#5) that connects to the extra length of hose(#4). You can order these parts, they will easily connect to your hose.

Also, I just noticed that you said you have sand, right? Has the water always been cloudy when the sand was added?
Ohhhhhhhhh I thought you were talking about the AC 110. Yeah I have those parts but if I put them on it is too long for the tank.
The sand never made that water cloudy when I first put it in, I rinsed it real good plus it was used sand. Since I've had it set up it has been cloudy and there cleared up over and over again but now it won't clear up. That's why I put the AC on there to help but no good..

And thank you! I will look into this right away.. I'm just about ready to do anything to get this water clear

this has been happening with my oscar tank. the only day it looks good is the day i clean the water.

in the 90g theyre in, im running 2ea penguin 350's...im debating whether or not to use 4 cartridges in each one or not. its ridiculous.

also got a penguin 1140 powerhead to keep everything moving for the 350's to suck up, that might be why also...

dirty fish. :P

...im liking this UV sterilizer ordeal. i generally thought they were more for saltwater tanks...thank you!
