Wounded by monster fish?

ive been bitten several times by my brothers full grown oscar and once by my 17" florida gar. the gar left several bleeding holes and ripped my finger tip open. im always waiting for the next time...meanwhile he gets bigger and bigger! oh yeah and my little 6" silver aro bites me all the time too. that doesnt hurt yet though.

My LMB bit me and wouldn't let go. Left a small rasberry that got infected, now I have a scar to show for it.

The 5" Dog-faced puffer at work took a chunk out of me, and then ate it.
It must have liked the taste, because now if anyone puts their hands in the tank he goes after them.

Been nailed by my 12"+SL Oscar more than once.
Draws blood if he gets a hold of a finger, gets a good grip and shakes like a schnauzer with a rat. Leaves a good pinch mark on arms.

Smart little bastard knows not to bother if I'm wearing my aquagloves :irked:

i got tagged by my 3 and a half inch spotted puffer once, that thing stung like no buddies business. i just would put in a dicider when cleaning one side of the tank, then "shooo" him to the other side put the divider back in. it was worth it, those puffers are awesome fish to have.

Well, once they've tasted human flesh...

OK that's just on a whole other level, it not only bit you but ATE (part of) you. I'd have bought him immediately - who could resist owning a man-eating fish?

that would be interesting! we could make a movie..."when monster fish strike back"!

I used to have a 5" red belly pirahna that bit me in the palm. I had to move his tank but I did not have a net so I caught him in a canning jar. All was fine till I let him out, he flew right out of the jar and grabbed onto my hand. He just hung there, so I shook him off and he flew behind the clothes dryer. My uncle dusted him off and he lived for two more years after that. That was one the of the worst pains I have ever felt, burned like crazy. I actually felt better to put the rubbing alcohol in the wound.
