To those who say that the fish is dyed,how would that process result in each scale having the reddish edge that this fish has?

I'm with you on that, doesn't make sense to me. The first post looks to me like that one could be dyed, the others don't. I'm no expert just what my eyes are telling me.

Problably should of added a bit more to my post. I ment to say could it be a dyed fish and diet that gave the fish a reddish tint.

Its not dyed. Some aro's are nicer than others. Some win the genetic lottery...some dont. Just like people.

I have read that certain foods can bring out a fish's color...I just don't know what to make of those almost completely red arowanas though.
