What a bunch of wankers. Honestly these are probably the same hippy idiots that are saving the world being a vegetarian, eating beans, and drinking their soya milk, not realising where in the world their soya is being grown and the impact of extensive agriculture in place of the rainforest land use has on the rest of the world, and locally on the environment. Half the time, they don't know what they are arguing. I understand their are extremists in every corner, but really can't they think of something that would make a difference and go about focusing their aims and doing something positive to achieve it. This is ****e propaganda, which frankly disgusts me, and if anyone handed that to my child, i would batter them.
i hunt and fish. and anyone who does should keep doin it and also involve there children. i get up at 4:30 in the morning and sit in a tree or blind for 6 hours when i hunt. its not like you go out and shoot something for fun. i love deer meat. actually i love wid game meat period. i put in hours upon hours of tracking skills to find where the deer will be when i get there. its the same with fishing. the only time that i actually wound the fish beyond healing is if it swallows the hook, and if that happens, it comes home with me to make a sandwich. so dont freak out on the hunter/fisherman here. i do it for the food and the skills it takes.
I agree with davo. If anyone ever gave any of those adds to a little kid I was with they would catch a beating. The organization would have much more credibility if they weren't so extreme (not that I would agree with many of their issues in the first place).
Do you know that PETA actually goes out to public schools, elementary schools, and passes out this garbage to little kids!!! Without the consent of parents, they just walk right up to them and pass it out. As for animal cruelty, they've put down over 70,000 animals at their headquarters there in Virginia.

How many animals are sucked into combines during harvest season? how many animals die because of pesticides and other chemicals used on fields? Did the truck delivering the food to where you bought it run over anything?

People may see me as contradictive because I am conservative but still care about the environment. I don't believe in global warming or being a vegan. I also think that people that work hard should be rewarded not punished and that people who don't should work harder. People should do things on their accord, to some extent, and that there are a lot worse things out there then fishing or hunting or having a dog.
It seems like these radicals have no clear idea of science. One major theory on why we have dogs is because they voluntarily began following humans so that they could survive and over time they became domesticated.
Also, don't get me started on global warming and that "hole in the ozone" layer B/S. Yes, there was a hole in the ozone layer, but it is repairing itself. Ozone gas is broken down by UV light and it is also created by UV light so the hole is shrinking. The Earth is a negative feedback system that resists change. "Global warming" is not the cause of big business and pollution. It is going to get a lot hotter hear and we are going to get more UV radiation when the polls switch and then we are going to have another ice age. Someone please tell the hippies that the free market economy and capitalism have no effect on when the polls switch, its a natural thing and we are do for one.
I could rant about politics for a couple hours but I am tired and have Calc test tommorow, and it is more fun to argue politics at school.
