Get her some books on turtles, she probably trust published materials over her students, especially nowaday teenagers just say stuff they don't really understand or they don't mean. I am not saying she is right, but think about the overall attitude of teenagers toward adults.
I just knew biology was the mother of zoology. i was just stating this. sorry for confusion on that.
