Glad to hear, you never know with M$ before they even admitted the RROD was real, loads of people tried to mod and took them apart when the extended the warranty to 3 years every console came back new, modded or not
 
I like gamerpoints - They often open up an aspect of gameplay I would not have thought of earlier. Just don't make it the sole reason to play.
 
I only thing attempting to get achievements is fun. But judging someone on their gamerscore is stupid because nobody plans solo games anymore anyways..

yes, I openly admit I have a modded controller.

I agree with you, its not really modding, but its still somewhat considered that in the eyes of M$. I would give anything to be able to mod the 360 the way you could the xbox1.

And yeah, it is a headache, I did mine about a year ago, downloaded around 50 games and called it good. Now the firmware has been upgraded so I don't think I can play the newest games that are out for download. Personally, I never play on live though, I don't care if I get banned. When all these games were new, I played for a few hours a day...I haven't played anything in a month though, other than a few party games here and there. I just like to have the option to play a game for 15 minutes if I want to. I'd rather not pay $60 a pop for a game to do so.

How about "I'm 29, I have a full time job that I work far more than 40 hours at a week, I like to drink, go out, travel, and I have far too many other hobbies."

I know man, I was just yanking chains.

I've met a few gamers with 3 digit scores that were un-believable gamers.

And most of the achievements take TIME to get, so there not being time is just that.

Doesn't mean in the slightest that your a poor gamer.
Also doesn't mean that you aren't either.

Well, I tell a lot of people I play with on cod4 that I have a modded controller. I don't use it how most people do. I don't really play for real, I gather with friends and we mess around in games.
And at least 2 people in the same game as me have one as well.

So far, the only one who gave 2 cents about it is you. Not everyone takes gaming so seriously.

I'm not mad or anything, but I'm with him with the whole "don't tell people about it." It's generally frowned upon...

Doesn't matter to whom? It only doesn't matter to the people who don't care....However, some people may take offense to it....


I'm just saying it is "sensitive", so you might not want to admit it. That's all. ;)
