No you don't! and it had integrated wireless which was a 100$ saver before the Xbox came out with the 2nd gen w/ integrated wireless. Pay 100$ and 50$ for wireless online? When you can go with a ps3 and get it all in one? I don't see why anyone chose Xbox other then for halo

Wtf is Wii doing with their US marketing anyways? They release the wiiU which is pretty neat (my mom has one for the grand kids), fail to market it, fail to release a bundle or drop the price during the console war and instead come out with the WII mini for the holiday for cheaper then the Wii? Wtf?

That was their intention all along. Wii isn't as big with gamers as xbox or play station is. Most hardcore gamers won't even give wii or wiiu the time of day so they can't afford to drop prices and take a hit cause no one buys or anticipates the release like everyone did for the Xbox one and ps4

I think they want to increase sales by putting out the wii mini around the holidays cause they know it's going to hard to compete with Xbox and play station now that they just dropped and most are already sold out everywhere.

Stupid plan if you ask me because stores have stopped carrying Wii new releases. GameStop no longer even has them on the wall. Its now in the used game crates while WiiU has the wall. They're not even doubling up their new releases for both consoles. Families are better off buying a gameboy lmao
 
I couldn't agree more. I thought it was a stupid move too. I actually like the wiiu that's actually the only system I own and was disappointed that GameStop doesn't carry the new releases. The only places I can find them is Wally World and toys r us other then online.

Gotta realise what the wii found the market for. I have actually been in old folks homes with it in there. Wii U released too early without enough games to carry it. It was a massive blow to the Monster Hunter series IMO (they closed the MH3 servers for the wii u's MH3U). Nintendo may very well stop the consoles at some point, but as long as they have mario, zelda and handhelds they will keep trucking.
